Concert of Prayer, July 5th

Ephesians 6:18. ‘Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.

I have written several times concerning the quarterly Concert of Prayer meetings which will be held around the country on Saturday, July 5th between 10-00am and 12 noon (I understand that one of two meetings may take place the following Saturday.

Each time I write about this, the need for prayer seems to be more urgent. Unless we Christians are prepared to humble ourselves before God, confess our sins and those of the nation and beseech Him to come to our aid, why should we expect Him to do so? Yet I see no indication that this initiative has ‘taken off’ in the UK. Is anyone reading this the least bit burdened for the state of the nation? If so, why not find out if their is a meeting scheduled in your area? If there is not one, why not get a few friends together and pray for a couple of hours for God to forgive us our sins and to send us revival?

‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “I will also let the house of Israel enquire of Me to do this for them; I will increase their men like a flock”‘ (Ezekiel 36:37).

  3. Hello Martin,
I’m sorry, but there doesn’t seem to be a complete national list of venues.
You will see the Yorkshire churches taking part above.
All I can tell you is that the event is taking place at the following Devon churches:

    Scott Drive Church, Exmouth
Newhouse Baptist Church, Smeatharpe, nr. Honiton.

You can find details of both these churches on line.
